the dawn chorus raise its voice in praise,

as a mothers is towards her
newborn infant, tender and protective,
He longs for me with the
deep longing of a lovers heart
calling deep to deep,
He delights in me !

He stirs me and wakens me
to answer longing with longing
and I turn towards him
asking that he would paint my life
as glorious as the sunrise
as colour-filled as the sunset, for
He delights in me !

inviting me to take His hand,
