to long, to wait,
to long, to yearn,
to groan deeply
with sighs inexpressible,
to know there is more,
there will be more
than we now know,
when we reach for wholeness,
brushing our finger tips
gently on the hem
of glory,
and shiver with the hidden
power of it,
the day is coming,
is coming,
and the Spirit stirs our souls
to deeper longings,
deeper yearnings,
as S/he prays
and longs
within us...
