In a glorious muddle of
myths and legends
we find ourselves
strangely at
one, though divided…
We share stories,
ancient myths of Brigid the
Christian, Druid
Goddess, Saint
and symbols of candle and flame.
We celebrate the promise
of lighter days,
and returning warmth
themes of purification,
and new life….
We revel
in generosity,
and offer hospitality
as if these were
woven through
the fabric
of our being…
…and we believe
the messages of hope
as sure as the passing seasons…
…and yet these fragile
web like
connections
pass by so quickly,
ignored
too often…
…do we fear
the touching place they
offer?
