...and pouring it seems to be...I collected Jo and a couple of others from Sheffield today for their friend's funeral tomorrow. Jon and two others arrived later, and they are staying the night and will go together to the funeral tomorrow...right now they don't know what to do with themselves...
We had just walked through the door when the phone rang; Paul my eldest had collapsed at work and had been admitted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn. Paul is diabetic, and P.C World have not been allowing him the lunch and supper breaks he needs to maintain his blood sugar in a healthy way... yes we will be encouraging him to complain through the proper channels....
..we collected a Chinese on the way home from the hospital, and arrived home to a distressed call from Paul, because his partner Louise was having problems with the girls ( daughters), she is recovering from surgery.... we not the hospital let her know where Paul was...they had refused for whatever reasons seem good to themselves....
....Just recently I seem almost able to draw breath when something happens to knock me sideways again... but that is life I guess, and I cling to the promises of God that I will not be overwhelmed by the waters, nor consumed by the fire, but that he will be with me through all of the difficult circumstances of life....
...and he is, in friends, and through their prayers, in the sunlight breaking through the clouds, in the silent beat of the owls wings as I watched her swooping low over the fens this evening...
...we shall not be overwhelmed by circumstances when we choose the way of faith, but we shall be changed...
... ray of sunshine, Tim was accepted by the District Candidating Comittee today...1 more set of interviews to go...
