I have been tagged by Sonja to participate in this meme created by John Smulo. He has also created the Christians Confess site as a forum for Christians to apologise for the wrongs they see the church and other Christians doing both today and in the past. It is also a place for those who do not consider themselves Christian to tell their stories.
First the rules of the meme:
1. Apologise for three things that Christians have often got wrong. Your apologies should be directed towards those who don’t view themselves as part of the Christian community. Alternatively, apologise for things you personally have done wrong towards those outside of the church.

1. I apologise for the times when I have been a hypocrite, not living out the faith I profess.
2. I am sorry that so often the church has twisted Jesus message to exclude rather than include people.
3. I am sorry that we have diminished the wonder of creation by forgetting that the gospel is about salvation for the whole planet not just humanity.
