Revd Mother says: Well friends, this is one of those weeks when I simply must work today, which is normally my day off. I know, I know. We may tut-tut all we want, but the fact is, some weeks are like that. So, this week's F5 is simple.
Name five things you plan to do today.
Bonus: If today is about "have-to" for you as well, share up to five things you'd like to be doing today
Friday is officially my day off too, but like Rev'd Mother I am having to catch up on a few things so list one- stuff I have to do today. Having said that I have just had a lovely reflexology treatment from a friend, we are doing a talent swap, I am teaching her guitar one week she gives me a reflexology treatment the next., so I am relaxed as I go into the rest of the day where I have to:
1. Finish of my sermon and service preparations for Mothering Sunday.
2. Make a few phone calls and deal with some e-mail...
On the home front
3. I must do some vacuuming up stairs- there is a rumour we have carpets up there!
4. As it is a beautiful day I am trying to get some washing done as apparently it is going to snow...( weird weather)
5. Do some weekend shopping as Tim's parents are coming up to celebrate Jo and Jon's 18th at the weekend.
Now for my wish list- in which I have control over the weather and the seasons....
1. It is March, and sailing season starts next month- so in my ideal world this would be a Friday where I could pack a picnic and we could head to the beach for an early season sail... the weather would of course be unseasonably warm.
2. I could spend a few hours relaxing by an open fire reading a book of my choice- hmmm now to choose the book.....suggestions gratefully received ! This may be my choice for tomorrow if it does decide to snow!
3. That I would have the time, the inspiration and the energy to cook a wonderful meal for Tim this evening- that all of our children would be out somewhere and we could spend some quality time together.
4. Add a really good film to that last scenario..... I have so much catching up to do with the latest films again suggestions would be welcome!
...
..
5. Well now a real wish for something I haven't had the chance to do for years, I would love to ride a horse across the Northumberland hills- it would of course be early summer, the weather neither too hot nor too cold, again a picnic would be in order, though I'd have to look for other company as Tim and horses don't mix!
Thanks Rev'd Mother for the dreaming time- now back to work!
