It makes you stop and think when the day before Mothering Sunday that news breaks at the tragic death of a mother... 4 years after the conviction was quashed by the Court of Appeal, Sally Clark, the solicitor wrongly accused of murder was found dead in her home- she was only 42..... she never recovered from the trauma of her conviction, and prison ordeal.
Prayers are with her family, and those in the community of Hatfield Peverel , who both knew and did not know her. At times like this we have no answers, it does not help to look for scape goats, or to apportion blame, we need to weep with those who weep...and pray for those whose questions may never be answered in this lifetime.
