The last two days have whirrled by in a blur, I spent yesterday morning trying to placate the young mums who run our Church based toddler group after the Church treasurer had been stomping around in size 12 boots and managed to upset them all, then I spent time trying to placate the treasurer and told him to pass my name on to district... and I'll take the flack!!!
Weds evening found me back at Wesley House for an evening looking at the place of Evangelicalism in Methodist Theology... my brain is still getting to grips with that one, I guess it is because of my non-denominational preference... though I'd tend towards Arminianism rather that Calvinism, but wouldn't hold tightly, my theology seems an ever changing thing these days... I may have become what George Verwer refferd to as an evangellyfish!!!
Today (my birthday) I've been into the QE hospital in King Lynn to spend some time with the chaplins there, this is all part of the vocational discernment module of Foundation Training...
Tonight Joanne will need a ride to the Corn Exchange where she is playing viola in Gilbert and Sullivans The Sorcerer...it runs for 4 performances, her first real paying gig, though she's just been offered another one in Norwich. I guess its good experience if she wants to become a professional musician.
Jon is out rehearsing for Toad... I'd better go cook to be ready for the half hour slot we'll all be together!!!
And it is cold and grey outside, below freezing all day, tomorrows forecast is the same ... I hate winter...got SADS I think!!!
